The Thomas Twins: We Found Love in a ... Best Buy Parking Lot

The Thomas Twins: We Found Love in a ... Best Buy Parking Lot

Meet The Thomas Twins: Parks is proud to highlight a fabulous team from our West Nashville office, The Thomas Twins! Forming in 2018, this team is uniquely comprised of two twin brothers, Elliott and Evan Thomas.

Elliott has been a part of the Parks Family of REALTORS® for 8 years and Evan for 4 years. After achieving great success early on in his real estate career, Elliott reached a point where he was ready to add a team member. It made the most sense to bring on his twin brother, Evan. How could it get any better than basically a carbon copy of Elliott? Having a business partner that offered the same level of customer service, with a similar personality and skill set, was a no-brainer decision.

When asked what the biggest benefit of being part of a real estate team was, Elliott and Evan stated, “The biggest benefit of being part of a real estate team is the opportunity to divide and conquer. The Nashville real estate market is one of the hottest, fastest-moving markets in the country. Being able to have four feet on the ground, four eyes on the market, and four ears to the ground allows us to provide a level of service that puts our clients in a ‘TWINNING’ position.”

The Thomas Twins’ biggest accomplishment has been their 2021 production: 70 transactions totaling $30M in sales. “When we started working together, it was tough. Working with family is hard enough. When one teammate has substantially more experience than the other, it can be even tougher. We are relieved and thrilled to have moved through that season of growth and are excited about what we are building together,” they stated.

When Elliott isn’t helping clients win big, he enjoys hanging out with his partner, Ryan, and his dogs, Buck and Beau. He also loves binge-watching the latest crime docuseries on Netflix. In Evan’s spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his goldendoodle, Django, and his friends on nearby patios with a nice chilled glass of chardonnay in hand. He also serves as as the president of the Greater Nashville Auburn Club and was recently selected as a member of the Auburn Alumni Association’s inaugural “20 Under 40” class.

Robby Stone: Beyond Satisfaction - Injecting Joy into the Industry

Meet Robby Stone: Born in Florida and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, Robby Stone has definitely found a home here in Tennessee. Since moving to Nashville in January 2010, he’s fallen in love with the subtle nuances present in each pocket of Music City, and it is this affinity for the city and his passion for people that led Robby to a career in real estate.

The road to becoming a Realtor has been paved with an array of career adventures. He holds a degree in Sports Medicine from Samford University in Birmingham, AL but soon realized the life of a doctor was not his ultimate passion. The following years would find Robby managing client relations for wedding photographer ABryanPhoto, acting in tv and film roles during his time spent in Los Angeles, entertaining as front man for several dance bands traveling throughout the southeast, and serving up delicious meals at a few restaurants around Nashville.

Forever wondering how all of these various jobs and educational experiences would work together toward his future, Robby now sees how each has prepared him for his career as a real estate agent. So many hats are worn in this profession, and Robby has learned to seamlessly wear them all thanks to his unique journey. In this role, he manages the client experience, entertains and effortlessly engages those looking to buy or sell in Nashville, and humbly serves those he works for and alongside. With years of unconventional as well as professional real estate career training and consistently over $12 million in sales annually, Robby has been groomed to perform his job with ease and enthusiasm, and his natural charisma and authenticity are added bonuses to what has been a successful step into his future.

Jennifer Weinberg & Chris Billingslea: Starting a Team with Your Best Friends

Jennifer Weinberg & Chris Billingslea: Starting a Team with Your Best Friends

Meet Jennifer Weinberg and Chris Billingslea:

Jennifer: Since moving to Nashville in 2009, Jennifer Weinberg's been around, next to, adjacent and connected to real estate. "My husband, Nathan, has been in real estate since we moved to Nashville, so there’s no avoiding real estate talk in our house!", says Jennifer.

After 15 years in hotel management, Jennifer was looking forward to new challenges. She jumped into entrepreneurship with her own short-term rental consulting company in 2016 and obtained a real estate license in 2017.

"Working with a variety of clients, from first-time buyers to savvy investors, keeps me engaged in Nashville’s dynamic real estate market." Jennifer's sales have ranged from a 100-year old farmhouse on 22 acres to a $1M condo in downtown Nashville.

Jennifer lives in Inglewood with the hubby and two kiddos. She loves exploring all of Nashville’s neighborhoods and will happily compare notes on the best coffee shops around town.

Chris: Since moving to Nashville in 2005, Chris has worn many hats. Professional marketer, blogger, PTO president, stay-at-home mom, rental properties owner, serial volunteer and community creator. And in 2019 she decided to add Realtor to her bag of tricks.

The best decision she and her husband made when they moved here all those years ago was buying their first home in East Nashville. 15 years, several personal residences and a handful of properties later, they have personally experienced the impact of owning property. So, Chris felt it was time to help others do the same.

Chris’s background in marketing and communications and overall helping attitude proves to be a great asset to her real estate practice. Her compassionate approach with people from all walks of life means she listens well, communicates often and guides delicately. “Empowering my clients so they understand and feel educated about the biggest financial decision of their life is my primary goal,” concludes Chris.

Chris lives in Inglewood with her musician husband Matt and two kiddos. If you can’t find her around the neighborhood, she’s probably walking in the woods somewhere. Or in Utah embracing her alter-ego.

TRAILER: Meet Amanda & Lila

Episode 1 PREMIERS Friday, July 1st!

My name is Amanda Gilbert. I’m a mortgage loan officer starting a podcast with my friend and realtor, Lila McCann, called “Win Some Lose Some: Resiliency in Real Estate.” Welcome to the first teaser!

During the pandemic, I remember thinking I was so alone in my struggles - the grind felt exhausting, life was overwhelming, and the weight of the world was heavy. Yet whenever I reached out to anyone, I realized they were going through the same struggles and I felt so much less alone. I want people to hear themselves in these conversations and know we are all in it together.

I hope you'll join us on this new journey, where we talk to real estate professionals about how we grow, learn, and bounce back from the inevitable losses. Please go easy on us, we're learning too.

- Amanda and Lila
